Part of a 5-day event: From Lamb to Loom, and Beyond. Takes place in and around Minginish Community Hall.

 

A 5-day exhibition, 24 - 28 June, including

- a brief history of weaving in the Minginish area

- displays relating to sheep, shearing, carding, dyeing, spinning, weaving, knitting, sewing

- comparisons of old and new methods

- personal reminiscences

- 'have a go' at spinning and weaving

- shearing demonstration on the 2 evening sessions

- tearoom

- The Sheep Shop

Mon/Wed/Fri 11am to 5pm

Tues/Thurs 11am to 8pm
